This side of the heel, is used to hold the "lever" type
door handle from slipping while the user lifts the Boot, to open the door. Pressure
that would have been on the smaller weaker joints of the hand, is now on this point.
Allowing the pressure that has been reduced (on a lbs. scale it took 1500 lbs. on a
single point to open "lever" type doors, this was reduced to a 100 lbs., with
the Boot) to be distributed over two palms, (stronger joints). This allows the
inflammation in the hands to be less stressed, allowing medication a chance to stop the
inflammation, without irritating the small weak joints from day to day travel needs.
