Sound, pictures, all on a Compact Disk.

As we age, family history becomes more important.  Thanks to my mom, I am now a member of Los Californianos, and a member of the Coastal Band of the Chumash Nation (tribal enrollment # 0804).  If it had not been for her pain staking job of keeping our family history, we would have never been able to prove our heritage.

Now relative's recordings and pictures have been saved to disk, and will be available to all, in the years that follow.  We had tape recordings and old movie film, along with still photos.  All exposed to damaging elements.

Many of these images had been damaged in the Northridge earthquake, that's when she asked me to burn the history on a CD.  I never saw the potential until other family members began to see the disk on their computers.  Even at the museum of Santa Barbara one can now view our history.

Now is the time to build your family history.  Take photos, voice recordings and have them saved for future generations before its to late.  Those who see our CD know what my ancestors sounded like.  How they lived, and what was important to them.

My Grandfather talking about the first John Deer tractor when it first came to Simi Valley, and how he felt jobs would no longer be available.  After all it took 10 men a full day to cut a stretch of road, and the tractor would do it in a few moments.

What has your family said or lived by, that with the new generation, could be lost and forgotten.

Depending on the difficulty, prices range from $100.00 and goes up from there.  How long, condition of the recordings, pictures, and narration required, all determine the complete price in doing your family documentary.
